received his M.S. degree in Artificial Intelligence and Pattern Recognition from University of Paris 6 Jussieu, and the Engineer post graduate degree from Ecole Nationale Superieure des Telecommunications (ENST Paris) both in 1999. He is currently pursuing a PhD at INRIA – IMEDIA Project, under supervision of Nozha Boujemaa. His research interests are image/text indexing and partial query for multimedia documents. His work is financed by a collaboration with TF1 (the French TV Channel): the aim of this project is to develop techniques for TF1 documentalists to browse and search their news video archives.
